BLACBIRD STUDIO

The initial collection will comprise approximately ten curated furniture pieces — including upholstery, accessories, rugs, tables, and chairs — initially designed for Via Valetta Laax. These will later be available through retail outlets and online stores, with a focus on logistical efficiency and a commitment to our core values of timelessness and quality.

BLACBIRD RITUALS

Initially launched at Via Valetta Laax, which includes a boutique, hotel apartments, and a wellness area, this range will feature scented candles, incense, perfumes, and clothing, later available online. Each piece is created to carry the spirit of Blacbird—calm, grounded, and refined.

Launching alongside Via Valetta Laax, our hospitality division will develop a boutique hotel brand grounded in a holistic experience that integrates intuitive technology with sustainable, low-cost operations. We aspire to create near-staffless properties, offering a high-end on-demand service and luxury experiences that foster serenity and allow space for connection.

Founded as a joint venture between model and creative director Ieva Lagūna and the Jeannet Group, Blacbird inspires slow, intentional living in a distracted world.

 

Ieva’s background as an internationally renowned model for luxury fashion houses such as Victoria’s Secret and Dior, alongside features in prominent publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle, combined with nearly a decade of travelling to luxury hotels and remote destinations worldwide, has cultivated a refined eye for design, style, and detail.

 

The Jeannet Group, which operates across real estate, furniture, finance, and technology, brings nearly twenty years of experience in business development, management, and entrepreneurship. Led by co-founders and brothers Boris and David Jeannet, the group offers the strategic insight and network essential to building a compelling brand with a distinct market position. Its core strength in real estate development provides a robust foundation for this venture.
